During the month of October, 3 martyrs were killed in Jerusalem Governorate, where the occupation forces executed the Jerusalemite citizen Habbas Abdel Hafeth Youssef Rayan, 54 years old, from the town of Beit Duqu, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, after he was shot at the Beit Ur military checkpoint, southwest of Ramallah. Under the pretext of carrying out a run-over operation at the checkpoint, it is mentioned that the martyr Habbas is the father of the prisoner, Qusai Rayan.

On the third of November, Dawood Mahmoud Khalil Rayan, 42 years old, was killed by the occupation bullets in the town of Beit Duqu, and he is a father of seven children.

On the same day, the young man, "Amer Hussam Badr Halabiya" (20 years old), was martyred, and the occupation detained his body.

This brings the number of martyrs in Jerusalem governorate since the beginning of this year to 17 martyrs, and with the detention of the bodies of the martyrs Habbas Rayan and Amer Halabiya, the number of martyrs whose bodies are detained by the occupation increases to 23 martyrs.

The pace of settler attacks and provocations increased in November 2022, as herds of settlers continued to target citizens' vehicles in several neighborhoods of occupied Jerusalem.

As for targeting Jerusalemite personalities, the occupation authorities continue their violations against Jerusalemite symbols, headed by the Governor of Jerusalem, Adnan Ghaith, as a joint force of intelligence and occupation forces raided, on the morning of November 22, 2022, Ghaith's house in the central neighborhood of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The occupation forces deployed in the vicinity of the house of the governor of Jerusalem before storming it, then stationed at his door, while a squad of the occupation forces and his intelligence forces stormed and searched the house.

On the fourth of last August, the occupation court issued a decision imposing house arrest on Governor Ghaith, without specifying a time period for the decision.

The occupation has arrested Ghaith 35 times since assuming his duties as governor of Jerusalem in August 2018, and he is also being pursued, arrested, and prevented from participating in meetings or communicating with 51 Palestinian personalities headed by His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh, in addition to preventing him from traveling or leaving occupied Jerusalem. .

On November 13, the Central Occupation Court rejected the Shehadeh family's appeal against the decision to evict them from their homes in Batn al-Hawa neighborhood in the town of Silwan, without any explanations or examination of the allegations made during the session held for the family on November 9.

During the month of November, and in the context of the attack on education in Jerusalem, the occupation authorities fired live bullets at Al-Quds University students in Abu Dis, east of occupied Jerusalem. As a result, a student was injured by a bullet that lodged in his thigh.

And as part of the occupation's continuous efforts to impose its curriculum in Jerusalemite schools, the so-called "Ministry of Education" of the occupation distributed its books to the students of Al-Iman School on November 8, prompting the students to burn those books.

In the context of targeting journalists, on November 17, the occupation forces arrested the journalist "Saif Al-Qawasmi" after assaulting him, and confiscated his vehicle keys at the Qalandia camp checkpoint, north of occupied Jerusalem.

The occupation court also postponed the trial session of the Jerusalemite journalist, Lama Ghosheh, 30, to December 20, and maintained the restrictions and conditions of house arrest and the prevention of contact and communication.

The occupation authorities seek to impose a new reality on the occupied city of Jerusalem through the implementation of dangerous settlement projects. In November 2022, the occupation authorities approved several settlement projects in various regions of occupied Jerusalem, the most prominent of which were:
