Jerusalem Governorate monitors the violations of the Israeli occupation forces in the governorate of Jerusalem during the first half of the year 2021 Jerusalem Governorate:
6 martyrs, 96 demolitions, 1,868 arrests and about 14,000 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the first half of the current year; 2021
 Al-Quds Al-Sharif Governorate monitored the violations of the Israeli occupation forces and settlers against the occupied capital and Jerusalemite citizens during the first half of the year 2021. Around 14,000 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque and its courtyards, the governorate also recorded about 2,500 injuries with live and rubber-coated metal bullets and severe beatings during confrontations with the occupation forces, in addition to issuing 4 unfair decisions against the governor of the
 occupied capital ( jerusalem); Mr.Adnan Ghaith, renewing closure of Palestine TV office in Jerusalem .
 During the first half of this year, the occupation authorities in Jerusalem executed 6 Jerusalemites; during the first quarter of this year, the Israeli occupation forces assassinated the following Palestinian citizens: martyr Muhammad Salah al-Din (20 years old) , on April 6, the citizen Osama Sidqi Mansour (42 years old), on May 16, the martyr Shaher Abu Khadijah (41 years old),
 On May 18, the martyr Muhammad Ishaq Hamid (25 years), on May 24, the child Zuhdi al-Taweel (17 years old),
 on June 16, the martyr Dr. Mai Khaled Youssef Afana (29 years old). 
The occupation security forces detained the bodies of Shaher Abu Khadija, the child martyr Zuhdi Al-Taweel, and the martyr Dr. Mai Afana, bringing the number of the bodies of Jerusalem martyrs held by the occupation authorities to 9 bodies .
 During the first half of this year, 96 demolitions were monitored, 67 of which were carried out by the occupation military equipment, 29 forced self demolitions in which the occupation authorities forces citizens to carry out to avoid the exorbitant fines resulting from the demolition by the occupation authorities. 
 The occupation’s bulldozers also continued to level land in the Wadi al-Rababa neighborhood, and leveling works in the Airport Street in the town of Kafr Aqab, and bulldozing agricultural land located between the towns of al-Za’im and al-Isawiya. It extends 1 km by 16 meters of the town's land.
 During the first half of this year, the Jerusalem governorate monitored the injuries resulting from the occupation forces’ by using of excessive force against Jerusalemites in various parts of the occupied capital, and about 2,500 injuries were recorded with live and rubber-coated metal bullets and severe beatings, 1550 injuries were recorded during the month of May only, and subsequently transferred Hundreds of injuries to hospitals for medical treatment, and thousands of cases of suffocation were recorded as a result of firing poisonous tear gas canisters.
 The occupation forces also "deliberately" targeted the kind crews, ambulances and press crews who were present to cover and document the events, in an attempt to obstruct their work and keep them away from the scene.
 During the first half of this year, the Jerusalem Governorate monitored 1,868 arrests, including 85 women and 394 minors. The majority of arrests were concentrated in the young age group, ranging in age from 15-25 years.
 During the first half of this year, the occupation authorities issued 101 home confinement decisions, 66 of them in the second quarter, for varying periods of time, the least of which is three days and may reach an open home confinement decision, June recorded the highest percentage of these decisions with 34 home confinement decisions.
 During the first half of this year, the occupation authorities issued 365 deportation decisions, including 257 deportations from Al-Aqsa Mosque.
 Also the racist occupation courts issued about 64 actual prison sentences against prisoners from the Jerusalem governorate, among these sentences, 25 were administrative detention sentences for a period ranging from four months to six months.
 During the month of May, the occupation authorities issued 16 decisions to cut off health insurance for several prisoners: (prisoner Amir Zughayer, prisoner Rami Baraka, prisoner Muhammad Arnaout, and prisoner Omar Zughair), in addition to cutting health insurance for 12 released prisoners and their families in the city of Jerusalem.
 
 Within the framework of the efforts of the occupation and its settlers to impose a new reality in Al-Aqsa Mosque and to work on dividing it in time and space, the Jerusalem Governorate monitored during the first half of this year the storming of more than 14,000 settlers and Jewish students into the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, the highest of which was in March when more than 3,800 settlers of Al-Aqsa Mosque and its courtyards, "on the pretext of Jewish holidays."
 Perhaps the most prominent issue in the occupied capital during the first half of 2021 was the issue of forced displacement of residents of Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, as 28 families, including 600 Palestinians, in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood are still threatened with forced displacement, 12 families, including 160 Palestinians, were handed eviction decisions.
 In March, the occupation authorities issued 120 demolition orders, 100 of which were in the Al-Bustan neighborhood in Silwan town only. It also postponed the decision on the issue of eviction of seven families from the Batn al-Hawa neighborhood in Silwan in May until next December. They are: Al-Bustan neighborhood 124 families comprising 1500 Palestinians, Batn Al-Hawa neighborhood 86 families comprising 726 Palestinians, Wadi Al-Rababa neighborhood 405 Palestinians, Wadi Yasoul neighborhood 84 families comprising 685 Palestinians, and Ain Al-Lawza neighborhood 280 families comprising 3000 Palestinians.
 During the second quarter, settlers carried out 88 attacks on Jerusalem properties and citizens, in addition to monitoring 31 provocative and inciting attacks, bringing the number of settler attacks until the middle of this year to 137. Including 31 attacks on the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood alone, three attacks on the Roman Orthodox Church in Jerusalem, and an attack on Christian clerics in the Old City.
 The frequency of the occupation’s violations of Jerusalemite activities and institutions has also increased during the current year; As an attempt by the occupation to reject any Palestinian sovereignty over the occupied lands of the occupied capital, the occupation authorities suppressed several women’s activities during the month of March, in addition to the activities related to the legislative elections during the month of April. They also suppressed dozens of activities and solidarity vigils condemning the forced displacement in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and the town of Silwan.
 Last June, the so-called Israeli Minister of Internal Security issued a new decision banning Palestine TV from working in occupied Jerusalem for the fourth time in a row. Caused the injury and arrest of a number of journalists.
 On the level of settlement projects, during the first six months of this year, a number of settlement projects and schemes aimed at Judaizing the Jerusalem scene and obliterating the Palestinian Arab identity in the occupied capital were revealed. In Jerusalem governorate, there are 26 Judaization schemes, including 8 expansion schemes for settlements built on the lands of the Jerusalem governorate. The last of which was on June the 7, when a settlement plan was announced to build a new huge bridge at the Mughrabi Gate leading to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and to remove the wooden bridge designated for the incursions of extremist settlers.
